One Gets A Bad Habit Of Being Unhappy

When was the last you stopped and checked if you were happy or unhappy? Sounds daft I know but it dawned on me the other day I was feeling unhappy. But then I stopped and thought about it.
One gets a bad habit of being unhappy

And it wasn’t till I stopped and thought about it that I realised that I wasn’t actually unhappy. I was indeed fairly happy. But I had started to think I was unhappy I was listening to all the ‘unhappy noise’ around me. I was getting down, I was listening too much to the world and its perpetual need to self-destroy itself.

It’s too easy to list all the things we don’t have and moan about what we think we should have because everyone else has things we think we want. When you start to list all the things you have you get down, negativity feeds off it and further down we spiral.

But if we stop ourselves and just focus on what we do have, surely that will have the complete opposite effect.
